Registered copyright logos and notices are available for account holders.
Once your work has been registered, you are entitled to state that it is protected with the UK Copyright Service as an additional deterrent against infringement.
Why include a registered notice?
Registered notice labels
Self adhesive labels (46mm x 11mm) that state that your work is registered and the registration number.
Each sheet contains 84 labels.
By displaying the notice, you demonstrate that;
- You are aware of your rights as a copyright owner
- You take copyright seriously, and
- You have very strong evidence with which to pursue a case if your work is infringed.
Registered notice labels
We can also supply sheets of self adhesive registered notice labels that can be attached to your work as an additional deterrent.
These are sheets of small self adhesive labels (46mm x 11mm) that state that your work is registered and the registration number, these can be affixed to your work as an extra deterrent against copyright infringement.

Each sheet contains 84 labels.
Wording your notice
The notice would normally appear next to or below the your standard notice and state.
‘This work is registered with the UK Copyright Service.’
You may also include your registration number if you wish. The complete notice wording including registration notice, would read:
Copyright © 2003 Joe Smith. All rights reserved.
This work is registered with the UK Copyright Service: Registration No:123456
For web sites, the following XHTML code that includes a link to our main site can be used. Simply replace ‘-Year-’, ‘-Name-’, and ‘-Registration No-’ with your own details.

You may also chose to include one of the logos as part of your notice.
To save, simply right click the required image and select ‘Save Picture As...’ or ‘Save Image As...’ from the menu.

To save any of these images to your computer, simply right click the required image and select ‘Save Picture As...’ or ‘Save Image As...’, and save it to your hard drive. You can then use the image in your documents.
